The net inflow of Rs 893.50 crore on Thursday, 3 April 2014, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4884.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 3991.10 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 893.40 crore into the secondary equity market on Thursday, 3 April 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4884.50 crore and gross sales of Rs 3991.10 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 42.42 points or 0.19% to settle at 22,509.07 on that day, its lowest closing level since 1 April 2014.
