Net inflow of Rs 16.70 crore on 22 November 2013
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 16.70 crore on Friday, 22 November 2013, compared with a net outflow of Rs 40 crore on Thursday, 21 November 2013.
The net inflow of Rs 16.70 crore on Friday, 22 November 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1864.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 1847.50 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 18.40 crore into the secondary equity markets on 22 November 2013 which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1864 crore and gross sales of Rs 1845.70 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 11.66 points or 0.06% to settle at 20,217.39 on that day, its lowest closing level since 13 November 2013.
There was a net outflow of Rs 1.70 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Thursday, 21 November 2013, which was a result of gross purchases Rs 0.20 crore and gross sales of Rs 1.80 crore.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 7544.10 crore in November 2013 so far (till 22 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 15706.20 crore in October 2013.
FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 96477.80 crore in 2013 so far (till 22 November 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
