Net inflow of Rs 435.40 crore on 25 September 2013

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth net Rs 435.40 crore on Wednesday, 25 September 2013, higher than net inflow of Rs 31.20 crore on Tuesday, 24 September 2013.

The net inflow of Rs 435.40 crore on Wednesday, 25 September 2013, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3356.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 2921.30 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 436.40 crore into the secondary equity markets on 25 September 2013, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3356.60 crore and gross sales of Rs 2920.20 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had lost 63.97 points or 0.32% to settle at 19,856.24 on that day, its lowest closing level since 17 September 2013.

There was an outflow of Rs 1 crore from the category 'primary market others' on Wednesday, 25 September 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 12820.20 crore in September 2013 so far (till 25 September 2013). FIIs sold shares worth a net Rs 5922.50 crore in August 2013.

FIIs have purchased shares worth a net Rs 72989.80 crore in 2013 so far (till 25 September 2013). FIIs bought shares worth a net Rs 128359.80 crore in calendar 2012.
