Fortis Malar Hospitals net profit rises 86.00% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 12.58% to Rs 27.02 crore

Net profit of Fortis Malar Hospitals rose 86.00% to Rs 2.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1.50 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.58% to Rs 27.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 24.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 80.18% to Rs 8.56 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 43.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 11.11% to Rs 107.70 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 96.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
