Inflow of Rs 335.11 crore on 4 August 2015

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 335.11 crore on Tuesday, 4 August 2015, as against their inflow of Rs 430.11 crore during the preceding trading session on Monday, 3 August 2015. There was a total inflow into the secondary markets with nil trading in the category 'primary markets & others' on 4 August 2015.

There was a net inflow of Rs 335.11 crore into the secondary equity market on 4 August 2015, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6042.64 crore and gross sales of Rs 5707.53 crore.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 540.04 crore in August 2015 so far (till 4 August 2015). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 549.87 crore from the secondary equity markets in August 2015 so far (till 4 August 2015). FPIs had bought shares worth a net Rs 5318.99 crore in July 2015. They had bought shares worth a net Rs 1865.19 crore from the secondary equity markets in July 2015.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 44939.66 crore in calendar year 2015 so far (till 4 August 2015). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 28761.02 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2015 so far (till 4 August 2015). FPIs had bought shares worth a net Rs 97055.90 crore in the calendar year 2014. They had bought shares worth a net Rs 84440.80 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2014.
