Net inflow of Rs 675.38 crore on 7 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 675.38 crore from the secondary equity markets on 7 November 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 736.33 crore on 6 November 2017. On 7 November 2017, the Sensex lost 360.43 points or 1.07% to settle at 33,370.76, its lowest closing level since 31 October 2017.
The net inflow of Rs 675.38 crore on 7 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 5640.44 crore and gross sales of Rs 4965.06 crore.
There was an inflow of Rs 3.42 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 7 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 12.55 crore and gross sales of Rs 9.13 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 3693.41 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 7 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 7103.31 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 7 November 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.
