Net inflow of Rs 698.70 crore on 27 July 2018

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 698.70 crore from the secondary equity markets on 27 July 2018, compared with net inflow of Rs 2885.71 crore on 26 July 2018.

The net inflow of Rs 698.70 crore into the secondary equity markets on 27 July 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4798.18 crore and gross sales of Rs 4099.48 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 138.45 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 27 July 2018.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 24683.55 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far (till 27 July 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.

FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 20661.51 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far (till 27 July 2018). They bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
