Net inflow of Rs 675.52 crore on 14 November 2014
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought shares worth a net Rs 675.52 crore on Friday, 14 November 2014, compared with inflow of Rs 683.66 crore on Thursday, 13 November 2014.
The net inflow of Rs 675.52 crore on 14 November 2014 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4993.81 crore and gross sales of Rs 4318.29 crore. There was a net inflow of Rs 669.98 crore into the secondary equity market on 14 November 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4986.59 crore and gross sales of Rs 4316.61 crore. The S&P BSE Sensex had risen 106.02 points or 0.38% to settle at 28,046.66 on that day.
There was a net inflow of Rs 5.54 crore into the category 'primary market & others' on 14 November 2014, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 7.22 crore and gross sales of Rs 1.68 crore.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 10189.81 crore in this month so far (till 14 November 2014). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 9480.08 crore from the secondary markets in this month so far (till 14 November 2014). FPIs sold shares worth a net Rs 1171.51 crore last month. They sold shares worth a net Rs 2010.97 crore from the secondary markets last month.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 92455.90 crore in this calendar year so far (till 14 November 2014). They have bought shares worth a net Rs 82951 crore from the secondary equity markets in this year so far (till 14 November 2014).
