Net outflow of Rs 447.09 crore on 10 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 447.09 crore into the secondary equity markets on 10 November 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 707.28 crore on 9 November 2017. On 10 November 2017, the Sensex rose 63.63 points or 0.19% to settle at 33,314.56, its highest closing level since 7 November 2017.
The net outflow of Rs 447.09 crore on 10 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4713.32 crore and gross sales of Rs 5160.41 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 419.37 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 10 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 431.44 crore and gross sales of Rs 12.07 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 8325.20 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 10 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 11735.10 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 10 November 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.
