Net outflow of Rs 732.18 crore on 20 February 2018
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 732.18 crore into the secondary equity markets on 20 February 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 3070.30 crore and gross sales of Rs 3802.48 crore. On 20 February 2018, the Sensex fell 71.07 points or 0.21% to settle at 33,703.59.
There was an inflow of Rs 3.92 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 20 February 2018, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 7.25 crore and gross sales of Rs 3.33 crore.
FPIs sold stocks worth a net Rs 10654.96 crore into the secondary equity markets in February 2018 so far till 20 February 2018. FPIs had bought stocks worth a net Rs 13635.44 crore from the secondary equity markets in January 2018.
FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 4239.71 crore from the primary market & others' category in February 2018 so far till 20 February 2018. FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 146.02 crore from the primary market & others' category in January 2018.
FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 2980.48 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2018 so far till 20 February 2018. FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 9768.38 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar 2017.
FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 4385.73 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2018 so far till 20 February 2018. FPIs bought stocks worth a net Rs 41485.09 crore from the primary market & others' category in calendar 2017.
