Net inflow of Rs 184.82 crore on 27 October 2017

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 184.82 crore from the secondary equity markets on Friday, 27 October 2017, compared with net inflow of Rs 44.11 crore on 26 October 2017. On 27 October 2017, the Sensex rose 10.09 points or 0.03% to settle at 33,157.22, record closing high.

The net inflow of Rs 184.82 crore on 27 October 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 6114.49 crore and gross sales of Rs 5929.67 crore.

There was a net inflow of Rs 7.80 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 27 October 2017, was a result of gross purchases of Rs 9.92 crore and gross sales of Rs 2.12 crore.

FPIs have sold stocks worth a net Rs 4875.35 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017 so far (till 27 October 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 19973.64 crore into the secondary equity markets in September 2017.

FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 3483.57 crore into the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 27 October 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.
