Net inflow of Rs 217.68 crore on 23 November 2017
Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) bought stocks worth a net Rs 217.68 crore from the secondary equity markets on 23 November 2017, compared with net outflow of Rs 260.63 crore on 22 November 2017. On 23 November 2017, the Nifty gained 6.45 points or 0.06% to settle at 10,348.75. its highest closing level since 7 November 2017.
The net inflow of Rs 217.68 crore on 23 November 2017 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4514.04 crore and gross sales of Rs 4296.36 crore.
There was a net inflow of Rs 1159.08 crore into the 'primary market & others' category on 23 November 2017, which was a result of gross purchases of Rs 1162.85 crore and gross sales of Rs 3.77 crore.
FPIs have bought stocks worth a net Rs 10886.08 crore from the secondary equity markets in November 2017 so far (till 23 November 2017). They had sold stocks worth a net Rs 4949.02 crore into the secondary equity markets in October 2017.
FPIs have bought shares worth a net Rs 14295.98 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2017 so far (till 23 November 2017). They had purchased shares worth a net Rs 12094.42 crore from the secondary equity markets in calendar year 2016.
