Second unit to begin commercial operations in Q2 2015
Gayatri Projects announced that its first power project, Thermal Powertech Corporation India (TPICL) - joint venture between Gayatri Energy Ventures and SembCorp, has successfully commenced commercial operation with the completion of its first 600-megawatt unit.The 1320 megawatt coal-fired power plant comprises two units of 660 megawatts each, with the second unit expected to begin commercial operations during the second quarter of 2015.
