Genus Paper & Boards standalone net profit rises 140.18% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 1.18% to Rs 75.68 crore

Net profit of Genus Paper & Boards rose 140.18% to Rs 2.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 1.18% to Rs 75.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 74.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 45.89% to Rs 6.93 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4.75 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.25% to Rs 308.69 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 315.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
