Gillette India standalone net profit declines 8.10% in the June 2018 quarter

Sales rise 0.53% to Rs 409.76 crore

Net profit of Gillette India declined 8.10% to Rs 34.62 crore in the quarter ended June 2018 as against Rs 37.67 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2017. Sales rose 0.53% to Rs 409.76 crore in the quarter ended June 2018 as against Rs 407.60 crore during the previous quarter ended June 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 9.50% to Rs 229.05 crore in the year ended June 2018 as against Rs 253.08 crore during the previous year ended June 2017. Sales declined 3.27% to Rs 1676.85 crore in the year ended June 2018 as against Rs 1733.60 crore during the previous year ended June 2017.
