Gitanjali Gems reports standalone net loss of Rs 15.40 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 10.92% to Rs 3992.54 crore

Net Loss of Gitanjali Gems reported to Rs 15.40 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 3.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.92% to Rs 3992.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 3599.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 11.46% to Rs 39.72 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 44.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.66% to Rs 10464.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 10750.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
