GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare net profit rises 9.78% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 14.81% to Rs 1079.09 crore

Net profit of GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare rose 9.78% to Rs 171.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 156.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 14.81% to Rs 1079.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 939.86 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 54.49% to Rs 674.76 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 436.77 crore during the previous year ended December 2012. Sales rose 52.07% to Rs 4682.92 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3079.36 crore during the previous year ended December 2012.
