GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare standalone net profit declines 8.18% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 9.63% to Rs 1052.83 crore

Net profit of GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare declined 8.18% to Rs 180.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 196.78 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 9.63% to Rs 1052.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1165.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 17.70% to Rs 686.91 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 583.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.72% to Rs 4106.61 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4136.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
