GMR Infra drops after recent rally

GMR Infrastructure lost 1.5% to Rs 23.05 at 11:36 IST on BSE, with the stock sliding on profit booking after recent rally.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 84.67 points or 0.38% at 22,466.82.

On BSE, so far 3.49 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4.26 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock was volatile. The stock lost as much as 3.2% at the day's low of Rs 22.65 so far during the day. The stock rose as much as 1.28% at the day's high of Rs 23.70 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 25.35 on 1 January 2014. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 10.65 on 6 August 2013.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 April 2014, surging 12.77% compared with the Sensex's 6.78% rise. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, sliding 0.85% as against Sensex's 7.96% rise.

The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 389.24 crore. Face value per share is Re 1.

Shares of GMR Infrastructure had rallied 9.34% in four trading sessions to settle at Rs 23.40 on Wednesday, 2 April 2014, from a recent low of Rs 21.40 on 27 March 2014.

GMR Infrastructure reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 441.09 crore in Q3 December 2013, higher than net loss of Rs 217.45 crore in Q3 December 2012. Net sales rose 11.4% to Rs 2625.04 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.
