Godfrey Phillips India standalone net profit rises 56.03% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 26.41% to Rs 762.95 crore

Net profit of Godfrey Phillips India rose 56.03% to Rs 59.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 38.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 26.41% to Rs 762.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 603.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 7.29% to Rs 183.08 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 170.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 4.28% to Rs 2521.02 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 2417.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
