Godrej Consumer Products net profit declines 5.17% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales rise 17.99% to Rs 925.41 crore

Net profit of Godrej Consumer Products declined 5.17% to Rs 150.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 158.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 17.99% to Rs 925.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 784.34 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 15.46% to Rs 510.94 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 604.39 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 20.02% to Rs 3520.93 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 2933.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
