Godrej Properties leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

Coal India, Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, Max India and JK Tyre & Industries and are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 9 January 2018.

Godrej Properties surged 6% at Rs 779.50. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 81,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 13,000 shares in the past two weeks.

Coal India spurted 5.71% at Rs 304.30. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 12.48 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.83 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation jumped 5% at Rs 1,782.85. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 87,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 44,000 shares in the past two weeks.

Max India gained 4.9% at Rs 127.40. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 85,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 18,000 shares in the past two weeks.

JK Tyre & Industries rose 4.32% at Rs 165.45. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.48 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 2.92 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
