Grasim Industries net profit rises 52.89% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 1.14% to Rs 1376.48 crore

Net profit of Grasim Industries rose 52.89% to Rs 372.37 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 243.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 1.14% to Rs 1376.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1392.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 4.16% to Rs 1225.99 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 1177.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 6.26% to Rs 5181.37 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 4876.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
