GST Collection Down More Than 5% On Year In October 2019

Goods and service tax (GST) collection yet again fell under the Rs 1-lakh-crore mark to Rs 95,380 crore in October against Rs 91,916 crore in September. It is down 5.30% compared to October 2018. As per the government data, Central GST was at Rs 17,582 crore as against Rs 16,630 crore in September. The State GST collection was at Rs 23,674 crore vs Rs 22,598 crore in September, Integrated GST was at Rs 46,517 crore vs Rs 45,069 crore in September.
