Gujarat Industries Power Co net profit rises 22.40% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 18.00% to Rs 388.22 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Industries Power Co rose 22.40% to Rs 75.67 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 61.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 18.00% to Rs 388.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 329.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 15.08% to Rs 185.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 218.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 2.56% to Rs 1371.04 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1407.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
