Vedanta, Hindalco Industries, Hindustan Zinc and Reliance Communications are among the other losers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 6 December 2017.
Hathway Cable & Datacom dropped 4.7% at Rs 42.60 at 12:00 IST. The stock topped the losers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.56 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.15 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Vedanta lost 3.47% at Rs 278.25. The stock was the second biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 5.01 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.53 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Hindalco Industries skidded 3.04% at Rs 232.50. The stock was the third biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.77 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4.33 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Hindustan Zinc was down 2.85% at Rs 286.80. The stock was the fourth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 79,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 68,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Reliance Communications declined 2.82% at Rs 11.02 after the company said that Fitch Ratings (Fitch) has withdrawn C rating of company's Long-Term Foreign and Local Currency Issuer Default Ratings and bonds listed in Singapore stock exchange due to commercial reasons. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 5 December 2017. The stock was the fifth biggest loser in 'A' group. On the BSE, 22.53 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 48.1 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
