HeidelbergCement India standalone net profit rises 197.79% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 1.18% to Rs 397.14 crore

Net profit of HeidelbergCement India rose 197.79% to Rs 24.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.18% to Rs 397.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 401.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 35.07% to Rs 38.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 59.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 19.05% to Rs 1628.13 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2011.20 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
