Hero MotoCorp drops after weak sales in June 2013

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 58.82 points or 0.3% at 19,518.57.

On BSE, 12,000 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 32,826 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 1,717 and a low of Rs 1,663 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,434.05 on 15 April 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 2,143.95 on 2 July 2012.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 1 July 2013, sliding 1.86% compared with the Sensex's 0.93% slide. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 10.6% as against Sensex's 3.78% rise.

India's largest two-wheeler maker by sales has equity capital of Rs 39.94 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

Hero MotoCorp's net profit declined 4.9% to Rs 574.23 crore on 1.8% growth in net sales to Rs 6072.47 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012.
