The stock hit a high of Rs 1,713.20 and a low of Rs 1,690 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 2,149.95 on 29 June 2012. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,434.05 on 15 April 2013.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 3 June 2013, rising 3.58% compared with the Sensex's 0.18% rise. The scrip had, however, underperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 1.31% as against Sensex's 3.66% rise.

Hero MotoCorp's two-wheeler sales rose 0.22% to a record 5.57 lakh units in May 2013 over May 2012.
The company said that its retail sales in May 2013 were the highest ever retail sales for any non-festival period. With demand for Hero MotoCorp products among customers at an unprecedented high, the company retailed over 11 lakh two-wheelers for the combined months of April and May -- its highest-ever retail sales for any non-festival period.

Hero MotoCorp made its debut in Central America by launching brand 'Hero' and its range of two-wheelers in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. Hero MotoCorp has appointed the reputed Indy Motos Group of Guatemala as the authorised distributor of its range of two-wheelers in these countries, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
Hero MotoCorp's net profit declined 4.9% to Rs 574.23 crore on 1.8% growth in net sales to Rs 6072.47 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012.
Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer in terms of production capacity.
