Hikal standalone net profit rises 118.25% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 35.71% to Rs 289.79 crore

Net profit of Hikal rose 118.25% to Rs 22.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 10.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 35.71% to Rs 289.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 213.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 1.95% to Rs 41.31 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 40.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.17% to Rs 925.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 871.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
