Hindalco Industries Ltd gained 1.04% today to trade at Rs 379. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.68% to quote at 16924.69. The index is up 12.63 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Tata Steel Ltd increased 0.61% and NMDC Ltd added 0.57% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 12.43 % over last one year compared to the 5.82% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
