Hindalco Industries Ltd gained 2.96% today to trade at Rs 411.8. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.78% to quote at 18804.61. The index is down 3.06 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd increased 2.41% and Vedanta Ltd added 1.41% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 11.32 % over last one year compared to the 5.34% fall in benchmark SENSEX.
