Hindustan Copper net profit declines 27.23% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 19.67% to Rs 496.25 crore

Net profit of Hindustan Copper declined 27.23% to Rs 136.88 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 188.09 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 19.67% to Rs 496.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 414.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 19.46% to Rs 286.42 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 355.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 11.95% to Rs 1479.73 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1321.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
