Among the other constituents of the index, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd increased 1.25% and Adani Gas Ltd added 0.59% on the day. The S&P BSE Energy index went up 17.47 % over last one year compared to the 10.97% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
