Hong Kong Market falls amid rising trade fears

Hong Kong share market closed session lower on Wednesday, 27 June 2018, as lingering worries over a trade war between the United States and China continued to weigh on the investors sentiments. The Hang Seng Index tumbled by 1.8%, or 525.14 points, to 28356.26, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index plunged by 2.2%, or 239.72 points, to 10879.17.The sub-index of the Hang Seng tracking energy shares rose 0.3% while the IT sector dipped 2.66%, the financial sector was 1.93% lower and the property sector dipped 2.3%.
