Hong Kong Market jumps 0.9%

The Hong Kong stock market finished session higher on Friday, 27 April 2018, snapping two days of losing streak, thanks to positive lead from Wall Street overnight and other Asian bourses. Most of Hang Seng index sectors inclined, with IT and energy stocks leading rally. The Hang Seng index ended 0.9% higher at 30,280.67, while the China Enterprises Index closed 1% higher at 12,066.58 points. The sub-index of the Hang Seng tracking energy shares rose 2.9%, while the IT sector climbed 1.41%, the financial sector was 0.43% higher and property sector gained 0.6%. Turnover reduced to HK$97.5 billion from HK$108.1 billion on Thursday.
