Hong Kong market rises 0.41%

Hong Kong share market finished modest higher on Tuesday, 13 May 2014, in tandem with record high closing of the Wall Street overnight, and on optimism state reforms will boost equity markets. But, slower-than-estimated growth in China's industrial output, fixed-asset investment and retail sales capped upside move. The benchmark Hang Seng Index jumped 90.77 points to 22352.38 on turnover of HK$50.71 billion.
