Hong Kong Shares end softer

The Hong Kong stock market finished session lower on Friday, 16 March 2018, as concerns about trade tensions and next week's Federal Reserve policy meeting. The Hang Seng Index closed down 0.1% at 31,501.97. For the week the index was up 1.6%. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped 0.4% to 12,673.07, paring its five day gain to 1.9%. Turnover increased to HK$143.7 billion from HK$110.7 billion on Thursday.
