Hong Kong Stocks end softer
Capital Market The Hong Kong stock market declined on Tuesday, 15 March 2016, following mixed closes of the US equity markets overnight and on caution before the conclusion of Wednesday's U.S. Federal Reserve meeting. The benchmark Hang Seng Index declined 146.57 points, or 0.72%, to 20288.77 points. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, benchmark measure of performance of mainland China enterprises, dropped 80.64 points, or 0.93%, to 8605.63 points. Turnover reduced to HK$56.5 billion from HK$72.6 billion on Monday.
