Hong Kong Stocks end softer

Hong Kong share market closed down on Tuesday, 15 May 2018, as investors continued withdrawing profit off the table on following a down day for Wall Street overnight after North Korea pulled out of high-level talks with Seoul and as US Treasury yields rose to the highest level in seven years overnight. The Hang Seng index ended 0.1% down at 31,110.20, while the China Enterprises Index was unchanged at 12,440.12 points. Turnover decreased to HK$100.5 billion from HK$105 billion on Tuesday. Among Hang Seng 50 blue chip stocks, 20 stocks rose, and 28 fell, with 2 stocks remaining steady.
