HPL Electric & Power consolidated net profit declines 5.23% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 14.97% to Rs 314.56 crore

Net profit of HPL Electric & Power declined 5.23% to Rs 7.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 7.65 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 14.97% to Rs 314.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 273.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.36% to Rs 27.58 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 25.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 5.07% to Rs 1036.31 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 986.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
