HPL Electric & Power standalone net profit declines 28.45% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 6.66% to Rs 286.82 crore

Net profit of HPL Electric & Power declined 28.45% to Rs 9.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 13.39 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 6.66% to Rs 286.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 307.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 39.42% to Rs 22.44 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 37.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 16.93% to Rs 926.48 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1115.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
