Idea Cellular consolidated net profit declines 38.88% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 12.69% to Rs 9462.57 crore

Net profit of Idea Cellular declined 38.88% to Rs 575.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 941.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 12.69% to Rs 9462.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8397.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 3.54% to Rs 3079.93 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3192.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.98% to Rs 35935.29 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 31526.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
