India Cements standalone net profit rises 39.92% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 11.91% to Rs 1147.13 crore

Net profit of India Cements rose 39.92% to Rs 51.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 36.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 11.91% to Rs 1147.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1025.02 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 367.95% to Rs 137.81 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 29.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 4.45% to Rs 4226.85 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4423.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
