India Steel Works standalone net profit rises 188.61% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 34.49% to Rs 168.70 crore

Net profit of India Steel Works rose 188.61% to Rs 2.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 34.49% to Rs 168.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 125.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 90.57% to Rs 4.04 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.83% to Rs 583.89 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 512.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
