Indraprastha Gas spurted 5.24% to Rs 272.90 and topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
L&T Finance Holdings gained 4.99% to Rs 85.20 and was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) after trading hours on Tuesday, 11 March 2014, said it has decided to include L&T Finance Holdings for trading in the futures and options (F&O) segment with effect from Thursday, 13 March 2014. The market lot of these two securities for the purpose of trading in the F&O segment shall be informed to members on Wednesday, 12 March 2014, through a separate circular, NSE said.
Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company jumped 4.93% to Rs 36.20. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries surged 4.08% to Rs 604 and was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock gained on bargain hunting after falling 6.73% in four trading days to Rs 580.35 on 11 March 2014 from a recent high of Rs 622.25 on 5 March 2014.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India rose 3.91% to Rs 540.65 and was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
