Intellect Design Arena galloped 15.26% to Rs 281.65 at 13:18 IST on BSE, with the stock extending yesterday's gain triggered by the company announcing the launch of its Digital Distribution Suite for the UK Life and Pension markets.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 195.59 points or 0.76% at 26,037.51
On BSE, so far 14.59 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4.98 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 283 in intraday trade so far, which is record high for the counter. The stock hit a low of Rs 244.05 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 69 on 18 December 2015.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 19 November 2015, surging 10.94% compared with Sensex's 5.57% decline. The scrip also outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 25.76% as against Sensex's 7.48% fall.
The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 50.30 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.
