Jagran Prakashan net profit rises 51.13% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 13.78% to Rs 380.25 crore

Net profit of Jagran Prakashan rose 51.13% to Rs 58.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 38.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 13.78% to Rs 380.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 334.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.68% to Rs 233.04 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 220.51 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.60% to Rs 1549.38 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 1376.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
