Jagran Prakashan standalone net profit declines 35.36% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 4.50% to Rs 446.10 crore

Net profit of Jagran Prakashan declined 35.36% to Rs 49.06 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 75.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 4.50% to Rs 446.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 467.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 15.84% to Rs 266.01 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 316.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 0.11% to Rs 1897.95 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1900.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
