Jagran Prakashan standalone net profit rises 17.38% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 7.08% to Rs 455.48 crore

Net profit of Jagran Prakashan rose 17.38% to Rs 75.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 64.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.08% to Rs 455.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 425.38 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 16.39% to Rs 316.06 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 271.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.06% to Rs 1853.61 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1731.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
